Children are developing mentally, emotionally, and physically. When trauma occurs, it is possible that their development can change. It may appear that your child's moods suddenly swing, whereas before they were level-headed and calm. Concentration and focus problems can happen, as well as changes in eating and sleeping patterns. Some childhood traumas are as follows:

Neglect: required needs are witheld creating a void in the child's developmental structure.
