Dr. Larry D. Beall, PhD Clinical Director and founder. Dr. Beall has over 20 years in the treatment of trauma survivors of all ages.He has developed short-term treatment protocols for post-trauma conditions. Larry is EMD/R, Thought Field Therapy trained, and uses "hands-on" approaches to therapy such as sand-tray, art therapy, and other experiential mediums. In addition to being a member of the American Psychological Association and Utah Psychological Association, he is a member of the International Society for the Study of Dissociation, International Society for the Study of Trauma, and conducts critical incident stress debriefings. Dr. Beall presents trainings and seminars on the use of sand tray therapy and treatment modalities for trauma. He also performs forensic and psychological/parenting evaluations for the courts.
Jamison D. Law, LPC, NCC Therapist Jamison joined TATC in October 2005 as an intern from the University of Phoenix. He has a background in the child welfare system and working with youth. He completed his degree and training and continued as a full-time therapist. Jamison works with all ages of trauma survivors. He also speaks Portuguese and Spanish and provides mental health counseling in both languages. He is trained to provide short-term trauma-focused treatment and uses a variety of experiential therapeutic techniques including art therapy, sand-tray therapy, EMD/R, Thought Field Therapy, and resiliency building. Jamison presents has presented trainings and seminars on treatment for child and adolescent trauma survivors. Jamison is a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Heather Whitehead, LCSW Therapist Heather has worked for TATC since 1999. She has an extensive history with the child welfare system as a Supervisor, child protective services worker, Family Preservation therapist, and more. She works for a local school district with children and adolescents with behavioral problems. She is a trained to provide Neuro-linguistic Programming therapy and other trauma-focused methods. Sabine Weil, LPC, NCC Therapist Sabine comes to us with an extensive history in the substance abuse realm. She is energetic and approachable and is a very person-centered therapist. She also is an administrator and professor for the University of Phoenix, the University of Utah, and a few other places.
Genevieve Sehy, CSW Therapist Genevieve also works with a local school district with children and adolescents who have emotional problems in secondary special education. Genevieve also has experience in the Alcohol and Drug Unit for Valley Mental Health, working especially with dual diagnosed women. She is excited to be joining the TATC team and excel in trauma work.
Christine Rasmussen Office Manager Chris has been with us since nearly the conception of TATC. She provides work as a support staff and as the office manager.
Andrea Love Receptionist and Research Analyst Andrea works as a receptionist in the afternoons and also searches and reviews for current treatment issues and events.
Holli Beall Billing Specialist Holli works with several insurance agencies, medicaid, medicare, Crime Victims Reparation, Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Workforce Services, Division of Child and Family Services, and more to aid in providing funding sources for treatment. Lisa Bird Receptionist and Valley Mental Health Contract Specialist Lisa works as our evening receptionist and Valley Mental Health contract specialist with medicaid.
